Refuse removal
All households in Okahao are required to have refuse bins. These bins can be obtained from the Okahao Town Council workshop. The first bin is free for new buyers, while replacements cost N$950.00, payable either in cash or through monthly instalments.

Note: Illegal dumping of waste in undesignated areas is considered an offence and carries a fine of N$10,000.
